________

LEAP SWEATER is an elegant sweater, with fine details that elevates the simplicity of the stockinette sweater.

The sweater is worked from the top down. The back yoke is shaped with short rows to create a comfortable fit. Stitches for the front yokes are then picked up and shaped with increases to form the neckline. After joining the front and back, the body is worked in the round. The sleeves are picked up and worked in the round, finishing with 1x1 ribbing. The neckline is worked in 1x1 ribbing. The contrasting cuffs are worked separately in stockinette before they are sewn onto the sweater.

The woman and man in the picture measure 84 cm and 100 cm around the chest. They are both wearing a sweater in size 2, which gives a positive ease of 46 cm for the woman and 30 cm for the man.

4 mm circular needle, 60-100 cm

Knit the sleeves and neck using either double-pointed needles or the magic loop technique, depending on your preference.
